COVID-19 Update - Important Information
Overview
Am I eligible?
Applicants must be graduates of a Canadian medical school and must be eligible for an independent licence from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Usually the applicant will have completed a residency program in Psychiatry, but consideration may also be given to graduates of Pediatrics or Family Medicine residencies. Prior experience in child psychiatry is preferred.
What would I do?
Psychiatry Fellows can design their own clinical experience to meet their educational objectives. It is best to choose one particular area of focus, and this could be a specific age group, a particular diagnostic or assessment area, or one treatment modality. Emphasis on relevance to community-based children’s mental health, and/or evaluation of outcomes is preferred.
