Speaking the unspoken: Addressing teen self-harm and suicidality

Parents and caregivers will engage in learning and discussion around how to talk to youth about self-harm and suicidality, how to support them during moments of crisis, create safety plans, and connect with community mental health resources.

We’ll also talk and reflect on some of the reasons why teens may engage in self-harm and how to recognize the warning signs.

When: April 7; 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Presenters:

Jen Bulthuis, MSW, RSW and Jane Kwon, MA, DTATI, RP

Workshop will be run on a videoconferencing platform.
