Listening to our clients and participants: Our survey results for 2023-24 are in!

At the end of every fiscal year, we pull data from our client and participant experience survey. Anyone who has received treatment, spoken with our Mental Health Access Team, or been a participant in our programs run by our Prevention team is offered a chance to complete it.

Feedback from this survey is valuable in letting us know how we’re doing and where we can improve. Last year’s survey taught us that Spanish was the most common language our respondents were most comfortable speaking after English, and as a result, our website is now available in both French and Spanish. We also took steps to increase knowledge about our feedback mechanisms by adding this information on our lobby screens and including feedback buttons to our website, including on our Contact Us page.

In 2023-24, we took steps to make the survey easier to access by creating a paper version, offering the survey on iPads at reception, and sharing the survey after intake. As a result, we had a 30 per cent increase in responses from 2022-23.  We will take away the results from this year’s survey and make improvements based on respondent feedback.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to give us their feedback to help us improve their experience at GH-CCMH.
