Susan Pigott is a trained nurse and social worker who has enjoyed a 37-year career in health and social services mostly in Toronto. She has held a number of senior positions in a variety of social service and health-care organizations including Family Service Toronto, United Way of Greater Toronto and West Neighbourhood House (formerly St. Christopher House) and CAMH. Since 2015, she has served as the Chair of the Ontario government’s Mental Health and Addictions Leadership Advisory Council.
Susan has been active in a number of public policy initiatives including the Ontario Citizens’ Assembly on Electoral Reform and the Commission on the Reform of Ontario’s Public Services.
She has been an active volunteer serving as a Board member for many organizations including Toronto Community Foundation, Tides Foundation, SickKids, and Soulpepper Theatre Company. Currently, she is the Board Chair of Artscape.
