The ISFC in-home team:

- pioneered virtual service delivery post-COVID, enabling more frequent parent sessions and creative solutions that improve engagement and outcomes.
- actively dismantles barriers using interpreters, ASL communicators, and multi-media tools, fostering equity and cultural sensitivity.
- builds strong partnerships with hospitals, schools, Toronto Public Health, Children’s Aid Society, clinics and community agencies for seamless, holistic care.
- bridges gaps between treatment and home life, creating measurable improvements in family functioning and child well-being while inspiring colleagues.

Grace Lee, Information Processing Analyst, Information and Communication Technology
- Grace has revolutionized workflows by automating referral processes, onboarding, and communication systems, reducing manual errors and improving efficiency across clinical and administrative teams.
- Her tools – such as automated appointment notifications and referral management systems – ensure clients receive timely, accurate information, enhancing engagement and reducing missed appointments.
- Grace consistently consults with stakeholders, adapts solutions based on feedback, and leverages advanced platforms like PowerApps, SharePoint and REDCap to align with Strategy 2030 and strengthen organizational foundations.

Meet 2025 Service Excellence Award recipient
Emma Dambrot, Child and Family Therapist, Intensive Services for Youth
- Emma developed a new expectations model for ISFY using positive behavioural interventions, restorative justice, and social-emotional learning frameworks – transforming how the team manages client behaviours.
- She spearheaded a neurodivergent-focused quality improvement project within ISFY, creating practical tools like decision trees and tiered support systems to enhance staff capacity and client outcomes.
- Emma designed protocols that identify barriers to engagement (emotional, social, sensory, processing) and provide clear, collaborative steps for staff the support youth participation effectively.
- Emma’s work advanced program quality, improved service delivery, and strengthened team competence, earning praise for her positivity, expertise, and commitment to equity.
