Families First Parenting Workshops

Addressing self-harm and teen suicidality

(for youth, families, friends and caregivers of adolescents aged 14+)

We acknowledge that having conversations like these can be difficult and that there have been losses in the community that many are still grieving.

This workshop will be helpful if you have any concerns about a friend, a family member or even yourself. Those that attend this workshop will learn the common signs that a youth may be self-harming or thinking about suicide, factors that can increase and decrease suicide risk, and what to do in crisis situations.

When: Tuesday, Feb. 27, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Presenters: Presented by Jen Bulthuis, MSW, RSW, Child and Family Therapist, and Pamela Saa, MSW, RSW, Child and Family Therapist

Workshop will be run on a videoconferencing platform.
