Kim Finuliar-Beckford

SickKids - Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health

Kim Finuliar-Beckford is the Occupational Health and Safety Manager at The Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health at SickKids (GH-CCMH). Kim came to the Centre in 2018 and joined the leadership team in 2022. They are a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).

Kim began their career with an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto (U of T), followed by a Master of Public Health at U of T focusing on Occupational and Environmental Health. Kim is also a Canadian Red Cross-certified first aid instructor providing training and education at GH-CCMH and in their community.

Kim is passionate about health, safety, and well-being and has developed a comprehensive occupational health and safety program to support the staff, students, volunteers, and trainees at the Centre in providing services to clients both onsite and in the community.
