SickKids CCMH Learning Institute has launched a new micro-credential program designed to address the specific challenges experienced by mental health leaders. It will provide the in-demand and future-proof skills needed within Ontario’s community mental health sector.
Excellence in Mental Health Leadership is a partnership program being offered through SickKids CCMH LI with micro-credential recognition through Humber College. This program provides essential leadership skills and knowledge for new and emerging leaders in community mental health services.
The Excellence in Mental Health Leadership program includes two new micro-credential offerings. Excellence in Mental Health Organization and People Management (five-day program), starting September 22; and, Excellence in Mental Health Data, Communication and Influence (three-day program), starting November 24. Participants can register for either program or both; the first is not a prerequisite for the second.
