Higher community vaccination rates, fewer COVID-19 Toronto cases mean more in-person sessions at SickKids CCMH

SickKids CCMH is offering more in-person counselling sessions at our sites and in the community as vaccination rates increase and COVID-19 rates decrease across Toronto.

SickKids CCMH has offered safe in-person services throughout the pandemic. Over the next weeks, there will be more opportunities for clients to have sessions in their homes, at community meeting places, and onsite at our Sheppard and Jarvis sites.

We are pleased to announce this capacity as the city moves forward with its opening-up plan. Clients should speak with their clinician if they wish to return to in-person sessions.

Virtual therapy sessions remain an option for clients whose circumstances and/or level of personal comfort makes virtual therapy sessions easier for them.

Our EarlyON Child and Family Centre at the Sheppard site is offering pre-registered outdoor programming. Visit our EarlyON webpage for details.

A reminder to our clients that while the city starts to open up, we are still committed to our safety guidelines to keep our clients, families, staff and visitors safe. This includes screening, masking, hand washing and physical distancing. Thanks to everyone involved with SickKids CCMH for following these guidelines.

SickKids CCMH will continue to provide updates of any changes to service delivery – please watch this space.

For more information on COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, please refer to the COVID-19 City of Toronto site. If you have any questions about your care, please ask your clinician.

New client? Phone us if you need services – we are here to help. Call our intake at 416-924-1164 ext. 8708; we will return your call the same day or the next business day.
